Diving Registration System (DRS)

There goes another diver, disappearing under the water, heading off to do his work. It’s never certain how long a diver can stay underwater. But this is about to change.

The innovative DRS registers and specifies exactly how long a diver can work underwater. It calculates this on the basis of the effort required for the dive and the depth of the water in which the diver is working, and it ensures that the diver is safe at all times. To realise this system, special computers are being developed that register everything that divers are doing underwater. In the future, it will also be possible to use DRS to determine the actual costs of the diving activities so that the outlay can be constantly monitored. This extremely useful system is currently under development.
